Description

So had two nice nights in a row and used them for imaging M106.  Its location was such that I'm about 180 degrees away from the moon so it did not affect me too much.  Was able to get 85x300" subs each night for a total of 170x300" or just over 14 hours.  I did an intermediate process with 85 and there was a pretty substantial gain by adding the second night.  Heading up to my place in Overgaard Az (Bortle 2-3 skies) for the weekend so I might just image a bit more on this up there.  Not sure on visibility however as I have large trees up there so I need to check to see that I can see it for a desirable length of time.

I will have to redo this one with my big C14.  Still working with that setup so it is not quite ready for prime time astrophotography but it should be soon.

Enjoy!
